Event Summary

The show "Courage and Peace," will feature 21 original works by our acclaimed Western Mass landscape artist Robert Strong Woodward. It will include several recently discovered and never-before-exhibited canvases and drawings, along with a number of the artist's larger paintings. Do not miss this rare opportunity. This event is brought to you collectively by the Friends of Robert Strong Woodward organiz-ation, the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association with the aid and cooperation of the Woodward estate and this website.

No where will you find a better regional museum. "The museum's extraordinary collection of furnish-ings, paintings, textiles, and Indian artifacts is 'the finest collec-tion of local antiquities in New England' and is one of America's oldest museums (1880)." [from the PVMA website]
