This painting is believed to be painted from the home of fellow artist and friend Dorothy Tufts. For more on Dorothy and her friendship with RSW, please read our Scrapbook story.

Dorothy was also a contributor to the cookbook "The Road to Good Food." See also, her illustrations for the cookbook by Clicking Here.

Today this drawing resides in the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, NY, once named the Syracuse Museum of Fine Art. The museum has a number of distinctions, first and foremost, it is credited with being the first museum devoted solely to American artist. Its founder George Fisk Comfort was also integral to the founding of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
