Aged Roofs
Aged Roofs, 1935
We wonder because they share similar names and
are just a year apart whether this missing painting
is also of the Halifax House.

Springfield Republican, Nov. 25, 1936, by Margaret C. Whiting, Deerfield, Nov. 16, 1936

"....in this way the simplest subject becomes delightful, if it holds light and space and air, as does the picture called Ancient Roofs, for it consists merely of a wide field, sunlit and warm, bordered by trees gathered about an old farmstead against a balmy sky of serenely loveliness. The items in this composition are not the picture's charm; that is due to the light which illuminates the scene."

Exhibited at Deerfield Valley Art Association, in both their June and November, exhibitions in 1936.
