Adaline Havemeyer Frelinghuysen
Mrs. Frelinghuysen

"Painted around 1930 I think. Summer painting of Keach's twin barns. Bought by Mrs. P.R.B. Frelinghusen of Morristown, New Jersey, for the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. D. Sheldon of the same town."

Editor's Note:

Though from a famous family (the Havemeyers) this is the only image we could find of Adeline from her Bryn Mawr yearbook. Adaline's sister, Electra (Webb) is the founder of the remarkable Shelburne (VT) Museum. The Havemeyer Collection at the Metropolitan Museum for Fine Art is one of the museum's most prized.
