RobertStrongWoodward.com Statement of Structure

RobertStrongWoodward.com is an online reference catalogue and resource on the life and career of early 20th Century landscape artist Robert Strong Woodward (RSW). Our mission is to provide the viewer with the most current, best images and information available. Owned and operated by his remaining estate, the website is in part a tribute to the artist himself, as well as, an historical account of the times he lived, his career, and home of Western Massachusetts. The website is neither an enterprise or non-profit. There is no income to speak of and expenses are paid entirely by the estate.

Affiliations

The Website does cooperate with two organizations with related interest to RSW, the Buckland Historical Society (BHS) and the Friends of Robert Strong Woodward Organization (Friends). As a matter of collaboration and good will we do promote both organizations on the Website. No information is shared with these organizations. This also does not infer that the BHS or Friends are partners or stakeholders. The Website and Estate are stand alone, independent entities.

The Website and Estate does produce an annual calendar as a fundraiser for the BHS and does not except any money in exchange or proceeds from the sale of the calendars. The Website and Estate also supports and provides Works of Art, prints and promotional material to Friends sponsored exhibitions.

Should you own a Woodward (herein referred to as Owner) and contact the Website via email. Understand you are revealing to us your identity. In the case of Owners the Website privacy policy gets more stringent because it is outside the purview of the Website's normal privacy policies. It is considered a special circumstance by the Website as a matter of good business practice. Owners are critical to our mission of providing the most comprehensive catalog possible and the protection of their privacy is our highest priority.

Filming and Photography at Events

RobertStrongWoodward.com may record and/or photograph events for live streaming online or re-purposing in digital e.g. on our website; Vimeo channel, or paper format. This will be for the purpose of promoting RSW, events and providing educational resources. RobertStrongWoodward.com maintains copyright and any other intellectual property in photographs taken and/or in digitized recordings belong to RobertStrongWoodward.com.

Where practically possible we will seek consent in advance of an event to provide the lawful basis for processing data, and at all times, will provide clear instruction on how you can opt-out of any photography or filming.

In return for access to the event, you consent to any such filming, photography and/or live streaming and to RobertStrongWoodward.com in reproducing and publishing your words and/or likeness in any transcript of or publication relating to the event and/or for the purposes of publicizing the membership and services of RobertStrongWoodward.com.

Photos and recordings contain personal data and will be protected and disposed of securely in accordance with data protection legislation.
