Additional Notes

Painted from the Burnt Hill pasture in Heath, Mass. It is not much of a reach to view a number of Beech Tree paintings to see why the pasture high in Heath, MA, got its nickname.

To the right is an image of Heath Horizon to illustrate the color of the pasture in reds, yellows, and hints of orange.

What is not known is whether this painting includes the Beech Tree or not. For just pasture paintings we suggest you check out the Pastures Gallery for other views of Burnt Hill sans the Beech Tree.
