This drawing is unique in its perspective. It is from the Heath Pasture Studio but beyond the rock ledge (or maybe from the rock ledge itself). The foreground and distant hills are quite lovely but for whatever reason RSW must not have been satisfied with it.
Chalk drawings are very difficult to 'date.' Unlike his oil paintings, his technique holds pretty consistant throughout his career for his drawings. We can tell you that RSW began visiting the Heath pasture in the mid-twenties, later buying the land sometime in the late thirties and building the quaint studio 'retreat' afterwards. The studio burned in the early 50's.
