It is rare to find a painting diary entry for a painting prior to 1925.
This painting holds the distinction of the first known artwork, outside of the National Academy of Design and
Boston Art Club, to hang in a museum. Its whereabouts are unknown. There is no record of it ever appearing
anywhere else after the Albright. We wonder if it was purchased by or from the museum.
